कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥ 2-47 ||
English Transcription
Karmanyewaadhikaaraste Maa Faleshu Kadaachanah | Maa Karmafalheturbhoorma Te Sangostwakarmani || 2-47 ||
Hindi Translation
Kartavya karma karne mein hi tera adhikaar hai, falon mein kabhi nahin, atah tu karmafal ka hetu bhi mat ban or tumhe karma na karne mein bhi aasakti na ho.
English Translation
Your business is with the action only, never with its fruits. So do not let the fruit of action be your motive of action and also do not let yourself be attached to inaction of grounds of indefinite consequences of action.
