यः सर्वत्रानभिस्नेहस्तत्तत्प्राप्य शुभाशुभम् । नाभिनन्दति न द्वेष्टि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता ॥ 2-57 ||
English Transcription
Yah Sarwatraanabhisnehastattatpraapya Shubhaashubham | Naabhinandati Na Dweshti Tasya Pragya Pratishthitaa || 2-57 ||
Hindi Translation
Sab jagah se aasakti rahit hua jo manushya us-us shubh-ashubh ko praapt karke na to prasanna hota hai or na dwesha karta hai, uski buddhi sthir hai.
English Translation
The one who is on every side is without attachments while whatever happens, fail or foul, he neither likes nor hates, with such an understanding the person is actually poised.
