भयाद्रणादुपरतं मंस्यन्ते त्वां महारथाः । येषां च त्वं बहुमतो भूत्वा यास्यसि लाघवम् ॥ 2-35 ||
English Transcription
Bhayaadranaaduparatam Mansyante Twaam Maharathaah | Yeshaam Cha Twam Bahumato Bhootwa Yaasyasi Laaghwam || 2-35 ||
Hindi Translation
Or maharathi log tumhe bhay ke kaaran yudh se hata hua, bhaaga hua maanenge. Jinki dhaarna me tum bahumaanya ho chuke ho, unki drishti me tum laghuta ko prapt ho jaaoge.
English Translation
The great warriors will think you fled from the battlefield due to fear and those who think highly of you will hold you very lightly thereafter.
