यततो ह्यपि कौन्तेय पुरुषस्य विपश्चितः । इन्द्रियाणि प्रमाथीनि हरन्ति प्रसभं मनः ॥ 2-60 ||
English Transcription
Yatato Hyaapi Kaunteya Purushasya Vipashchitah | Indriyaani Pamaatheeni Haranti Prasabham Manah || 2-60 ||
Hindi Translation
Kaaran Ki Hey Kuntinandan, Rasbuddhi Se Rehne Wale, Yatna Karte Hue Vidwaan Manushya Ki Bhi Pramathansheel Indriyan Uske Manko Balpoorvak Har Leti Hain.
English Translation
O Arjuna! The turbulent senses are so strong that they carry away the mind, even of a wise man, forcibly toward sense pleasures; though he strives hard to subdue them.
