इन्द्रियाणां हि चरतां यन्मनोऽनुविधीयते । तदस्य हरति प्रज्ञां वायुर्नावमिवाम्भसि ॥ 2-67 ||
English Transcription
Indriyaanaam Hi Charataam Yanmanonuvidheeyate | Tadasya Harati Pragyaam Waayurnaawamiwaambhasi || 2-67 ||
Hindi Translation
Kaaran ki apne apne vishayon mein vicharti hui indriyon mein se ek hi indri jis man ko apna anugaami bana leti hai, wah akela man jal mein nauka ko vaayu ki tarah iski buddhi ko har leta hai.
English Translation
When the mind of a person follows the senses experiencing their objects, this mind of his carries away with it his intellect, just as the wind carries away a boat on the water, and distracts the intellect from the stabilised thought of the Supreme Self.
