अकीर्तिं चापि भूतानि कथयिष्यन्ति तेऽव्ययाम् । सम्भावितस्य चाकीर्तिर्मरणादतिरिच्यते ॥ 2-34 ||
English Transcription
Akeertim Chaapi Bhootaani Kathayishyanti Tewyayaam | Sambhaawitasya Chaakeertirarmaranaadatirichyate || 2-34 ||
Hindi Translation
Or sab praani bhi teri sada rehne wali apkeerti ka kathan arthaat ninda karenge. Wah Apkeerti sammanit manushya ke liye mrityu se bhi badhkar dukhdaayi hoti hai.
English Translation
Everyone will keep recounting this dishonor upon you and for a person as highly esteemed as yours, this will be more devastating than a painful death
